LOGGING IN TO ADMIN INTERFACE Access the admin login page by going to About KV ang click adm at the bottom right. Fill in Username and Password. TIP: Open two other tabs on your web browser. One for your Dashboard where you will login, and another for your actual website. This enables you to check and check back.   CREATING NEW PHOTO GALLERY On the Dashboard (left panel), click (hover) Gallery then click Add Gallery / Images. NOTE: Make sure to resize your images/photos to at least 500pixels width to ensure faster loading of your website’s pages and photo gallery slideshows. web1 Type in the Gallery title then click Add Files. Browse for your images in your computer. NOTE: you can choose more than one image. Then click Start Upload. web2 Upload of images is complete. web3   CREATING THE POST (Article) Click (hover) on Posts on the Dashboard then click Add New. web4 Type in Title of post web5 Then click Add Gallery icon web6 On the Add Gallery dialogue setup, make sure NextGEN Basic Thumbnails is chosen web7 Then click What would you like to display? web8 Click on the empty text box labelled Galleries, then scroll down to the last entry using the scroll slider then click on the last entry which should be the latest gallery that you’ve created. web9 Then click Insert Displayed Gallery (blue button) web10   Complete the post by setting up other attributes Edit the Publish date (optional) on the right side. web11 Disable the background music’s autoplay for this post. Scroll down to Soundy Background Music then choose No on both options. web12 Categorize the post. On the right panel Tick on corresponding category (group) where the post should belong. web13 Add tags (optional) to make this particular post searchable. Make sure to separate tags with commas. Lastly, add an image to represent the post. Click Set NextGEN featured image web14 On the Set NextGEN featured image dialogue setup, click on the list of galleries then scroll down to the last entry using the scroll slider then click on the last entry which should be the latest gallery that you’ve created. web15 Then click Select. web16 Then click Show on the corresponding tiny image that you want to use. web17 Details of the image’s properties will open. Then click Use as featured image. web18 When Done, close this dialogue set up by clicking on the X at upper right. web19 SAVE all your work on this POST to publish it on your website frontend by clicking on Publish (scroll back up blue button). web20   Check your new post by visiting your website. TIP: make it a habit to open two tabs on your browser when updating your website–one for your website frontend and another tab for your Dashboard. This enables you to check and check back. Make sure to always refresh the frontend tab whenever you want to see any changes you made.   Good luck!
